How it works

One trading day, screen by screen.

What you open and when, from before the open to after the close. Every number carries its definition and the time it was computed. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation.

Coverage and cadence

Optwise covers NSE index derivatives: NIFTY, BANKNIFTY and SENSEX. The full option chain is priced every sixty seconds during market hours. Outside market hours the platform shows the last completed read with its timestamp.

  1. Before the open

On an expiry day the pin call is published and frozen before anyone can trade against it.

    Expiry pin zone

On an expiry day the platform publishes a price zone at the open and states whether it expects that zone to hold. When the book gives no usable anchor, it says so instead of producing a zone. We freeze the call at the open and grade it that evening against the exchange's official close.

  2. During the session

The read refreshes every sixty seconds. Alerts reach you only when the regime or a level actually changes, at most five in a day — on Telegram and in the app. When nothing has changed, nothing is sent, and a quiet day means the book has held its shape.

    Dashboard

Today's read on one screen: the regime, how one-sided the book is, the levels the structure is anchored to, and where spot sits between them. Every figure carries the time it was computed, so you always know how fresh a number is. This is the screen most desks keep open.

    Gamma Desk

The per-strike detail behind the dashboard read. Dealer exposure across the chain, the call and put walls, the zero-gamma flip, and the implied range for the session. Use it when you want to know which strikes are driving the headline number.

    Analyst

Ask about the current structure in plain language. It answers against the live chain and the day's history, and quotes the figures it used. It describes what the book looks like. It will not tell you what to trade, and it carries no bullish or bearish label.

  3. After the close

We grade the day's expiry call against the exchange's official close and seal it, so it cannot be edited afterwards.

Getting access
